Passion Project, 2020

After seeing Dave Hakkens incredible plastic recycling machines I decided to raise money to buy one of the machine so that I could start mobilising a team to set up a mini recycling centre in Hackney. I bought together a team of passionate individuals and we are now prototyping. I was asked to host a talk about the machine at VICE London.

The Last Straw, India

Campaign Creator, 2018

While traveling in India, I was horrified by the waste management systems and the total ignorance from the tourists so decided to launch a campaign to end the use of plastic straw in Goa, with the aim of starting small to have big ripples. The campaign image was front page of Goa Times, along with my interview.

Lambeth Country Show

Sustainability Manager, 2018

In 2018, I was asked by Lambeth Country Show’s organisers to come on board as the Sustainability Manager. Lambeth Country Show is the highest certified public event in the UK for their policies and efforts on reducing their impact on the environment. I was brought in to monitor each trader and ensure they were complying with waste, recycling and serve-ware regulations as well as implicating the festivals reusable cups scheme.
